Yarborough Road

This painting showcases a part of Belize that is very personal to me. As a kid growing up, my friends and I used to hang out under the mango tree on the sidewalk. This is an area where I’ve made many memories and whenever I look at this painting it reminds me of them. The gloomy skies and rain puddles give characteristics of the weather but also add to the calmness and serenity of the neighborhood riddled with lush greenery.
